Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Bharati Hospital in Kolhapur, India, stands as a distinguished institution in the country, delivering high-quality Ayurvedic healthcare. Established in June 2022, this hospital is affiliated with Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Bharati Hospital Kolhapur and plays a crucial role in providing essential clinical training to undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students at the college. The institute has gained recognition for conducting Central Government-approved research activities in Ayurveda. It operates as a well-equipped 100-bed hospital.

Currently, the hospital serves the healthcare needs of the community with its 100 beds, attracting approximately 200 patients to its outpatient department daily, hailing from various parts of the country and abroad. However, the current infrastructure falls short of meeting the increasing demands, prompting plans for a substantial expansion. Additionally, a unique child immunization program known as ‘SWARNAMRITHA PRASHANA’ has benefited more than 5,000 children since July 28, 2021, conducted on every “PUSHYA NAKSHTRA” day.

The hospital maintains a delicate balance between classical Ayurvedic principles and modern medical advancements by utilizing contemporary diagnostic equipment for both early and precise diagnoses, followed by the management of diseases with distinctive Ayurvedic remedies. Comprehensive treatment approaches include the integration of yoga and physiotherapy into the Ayurvedic Panchakarma regimen. These holistic treatment methods, coupled with the extensive range of diseases addressed, have established this hospital as the predominant Ayurvedic healthcare institute in the region, making it one of the leading Ayurvedic teaching hospitals in the country.

The hospital’s commitment to maintaining this balance between traditional Ayurvedic concepts and modern medical progress ensures that it continues to provide exceptional care.
